That legit looked like a decapitation scene minus the head falling off causing a stream of blood. I know it's a kids show but when you animate it in such a way it just kind of looks dumb that such an attack would just cause someone to fall over lol :P.

There are two scenarios:
Goodra is mostly goo and the blade would go right through it's neck, leaving it unharmed...
or
Goodra is mostly solid, meaning this should have lead to a decapitation...
NEITHER of these is what happened. I think the producers a trippin'.
