Yes there is, there's a primary duct from which milk is able to flow. And weird as it might sound, I've seen a few nipples that make this sort of thing look possible.

Each breast has 15 – 20 'lactiferous ducts' which drain the milk towards the nipple. There has to be a hole or the baby would starve. As with any hole, if you work on it, you can enlarge it, eventually it will be large enough to take a girl's temperature.
