Well, it's not confirmed that he is dead..as in actually dead dead. In the livestream they only said "We had to lose Roman" when asked about his status and then they smirked really obviously. Supposedly because the voice actor had another project...but those are just rumors. Roman might yet make a comeback, here's fingers crossed, every series needs their joker.

he probally isnt dead. He likely will show up later and ruby will ask "didnt you get swallowed whole though?!" he will likely say " I 'DO NOT' want to talk about it..."
