Notice how, in the 1st panel, Sans is getting the idea of leaving the panels by looking at the 2nd panel Sans? He's getting the idea to break the 4th wall by watching a future version of himself, that got the idea in the past by observing his future self, break the 4th wall... Or, in other words: Sans is combining 4th wall breaking with a temporal paradox.
