Not really, when the games in question have such a tiny fan following that it wouldn't be worth the trouble.

The standard DoA games can makes a profit of millions. But the something like this would barely make hundreds.

"Tiny following"?
They've sold more over in the US than they have in Japan. How the fuck is that a tiny?

Sold more =/= Sold well.
The Xtreme games sold like crap compared to the regular DoA games. In fact, the last game did so bad, it's sequel is coming out 10 years later.

Sold enough to get sequels.

Have a decade long gap between games means the last one sold poorly.

The last game came out in 2010. That's not a decade.

And DoA Paradise, a psp game which is part of the Xtreme series, although not numbered, was released in 2010.

Then they went on to focus development on DoA 5 which came out in 2012, which they've worked on. A lot. Probably more than any other entry in the series.

DoA Paradise which I should mention is simply DOA Xtreme 2 with one additional new character for the Vita. Therefore it still doesn't count as a new game. Point is that Koei Tecmo is wasting their time on such a vapid subseries if they can't be bothered to go all out by including nudity.
