There was an audio drama where the cast had to brainstorm new ideas for the series to continue, and one of the ideas was to make it a high school drama. Rei was the "Blazing Transfer Student" and Asuka was the school bully who challenged Rei to talk back to her... so Rei proceed to go on a rapid-fire completely monotone rant while slapping Asuka silly.
