If only the actual anime had been as fanservicey as the OP, it *might* have made up for the travesty said anime became; if only it was popular enough to get a more faithful adaptation of the manga...

Yeah, I'm glad I watched the anime first. Had I read the manga beforehand I would have most likely dropped the anime mid-way.

The ending of this show made me want to kill myself. This is one of the many cases where the manga should be the only thing that should of existed.

I wholeheartedly agree that the anime adaption was horrible. The manga had so much heart and soul that when I checked out the anime, I was disgusted.
