The site owner has directly asked a legal authority and been told that loli is not illegal in the state Gelbooru is hosted in (Illinois). We currently do not have any worries about legal action against the site.

I can understand your worries about legal action directed at you, but as we've stated, there isn't much more we can do about it unless you give us more information about where to look and which users to talk to about it. "The bondage tag" isn't much better than the entire post listing.

Well, thanks for reading everything Jerl. As for the pics, its mostly in the bondage section. Looks like about 80 pages before the search limit stops you. Looks to be where they mostly are. Not sure about BDSM tag which covers most of the bondage tag. Sorry, but I REALLY don't want to look again. I just HATE that stuff that much. And I mean the pics of like 6 and 8 year olds.

If you're that paranoid about going to jail then there are 2 major things you can do:
- stop browsing this site, which is the easiest thing you can do, but you probably don't want to do to that, so...
- using a proxy or TOR (better choice) to remove any traces of you browsing Gelbooru, and for your "saved thumbnails" issue you can just wipe the free space of your HDD with several algorithms like DND (3 runs or 7 runs) and if you're really paranoid, there's the Gutmann method which does 35 runs, and be sure you removed (also from the recycle bin) any thumbnails that you want permanently removed.
Also there are probably more knowledgeable than me and could provide better ways to do what I proposed.
NOTE that TOR isn't perfectly safe to use. Almost everything you do on the internet can be traced back to you with enough effort.
On the topic of tracing, does Gelbooru even collect IPs or any information that could be traced to the specific user?

I don't know if collect is the right word or if it can just trace. The admin is the only one with that information and it will not be collected or used unless you've done something major like super poisoning or posting real cp. Your information will not be given to anyone except maybe law enforcement and then only if it is truly warranted. I don't know for certain but you can probably count the number of times this has happened on your fingers. (We have over 200,000 registered accounts.)
