now don't take this comment to heart But, i feel in the first panel the flurry covering sans' face is actually papyrus' dust and whats on the ground the armor papyrus never takes off. and sans is referring back to when toriel (behind the last ruins door) asks him to promise to watch over the next human who leaves the ruins, but he cant do that because the player( the next human to leave the ruins) has killed his brother... but its only just a guess and a theory.
