There's a difference between being plump, and being healthily, naturally proportioned. One thing I love about K-on! Is the characters are proportioned realistically should they stand parallel to real people. Their heads aren't gigantic compared to their bodies (except in the flashback scenes where Yui and Ui are kids or when Ritsu is a gradeschooler), and they have realistically shaped Midsections. It's refreshing, but the series is still goofy, just as it wants to be.
