that's because on a loose explanation that's where this all started. Back on 2ch It was Part Monster Girl Quest AND Monster Girl Encyclopedia.
One went Left and they worked on the MGQ Game and the other group went right and wondered what it would be like Living with monster girls in today's world.
(I think EMG was spawned because of MGQ) Thus we get 3 whole projects. Everyday Monster Girls, Monster Girl Quest and their dirty, dirty children Monsterpedia.

Uh, no kamperkiller. That is pure and utter bullshit.
Both Okayado (EMG) and Kenkou Cross (MGE) began work on their entirely separate Monster Girl projects around ~2007. At the time, Okayado worked on his lewd one-off comic strips. These would eventually build towards the world-wide phenomenon of EMG.
Meanwhile, Kenkou Cross has always just been chipping away with the MGE since he started it, slowly refining ideas into actual physical Encyclopedias and Guide Books. He was contacted and commissioned to produce some content for MGQ on the side, resulting in several slimes and of course Alice.
