They say people exaggerate what's important to them when they draw and from the looks of almost all of the Ryuko pics it's her breasts that are exaggerated. Ryuko was purposely given a small chest so it wouldn't come across as overly lewd yet she's always drawn with Mako sized boobs.

Yes, the larger breasts were immediately apparent here. And really, she's the most attractive character of the series, regardless of cup size. Putting some seductive lingerie on her, however, DOES make her hotter. Considerably so.
