Daniruu : it could be combat level difference, like you imply. But if i remember correctly, Flying Press is a dual type move (the only one, so far) and its secondary type varies depending on context.

Although here i think it's the combat level difference that matters...

I checked, and you're wrong Satoshi-Yvone. When under the effects of Electrify, the move becomes Fighting/Electric. Likewise, while under the effects of Normalize, it will be a Fighting/Normal move. Additionally, the move never misses minimized targets.
