As if King Pilaf and Ninja Purple were ever powerful foes, even when first introduced... :D
I do love how even after being surpassed big time by so many, Frieza keeps his legendary aura of an overwhelmingly powerful warmonger. Being a warrior is one thing, being a RULING villain is another, and he's still unsurpassed on that area. :)

In the most recent movie Frieza was resurrected then got a new "gold" transformation that can even beat goku's bullshit "god" form.
Thanks to these movie plot shenanigans he's now the strongest villian in the series again.
