He is most well known for being the creator of the Touhou series of games, the world's most prolific fan shooter game series. He is also known as Team Shanghai Alice. Despite what the name implies, the main Touhou games have all been one man projects. He is also famous for his love of beer, with his favorite being Kirin. In photos, he is often seen with a beer in hand or close by, leading to jokes that alcohol is a source of power for him or that he is some sort of drunken master. He wears glasses and often wears a hat, much like his characters often do. Outside of Touhou, he has worked on few games developed by Taito. He is also a Jojo no Kimyou na Bouken fan and has dropped some references to the series in Touhou. His real name is Oota Jun'ya. His pen name Zun, is also his childhood nickname and is the short form of his real name. This tag is to be used when ZUN is a character in the work.
