Beautiful imagery... but I can't help but see just how useless those swords are. There's literally no way he'd be able to draw them at that angle, with both arms already at full extension.

Aaaand that's why they're on ropes, so they can pull to his sides a bit more. Look like retractables, so probably extendable as well.
