Shirou isn't a demon so Shiki's Nanaya instincts won't activate. However even with his frail constitution he's still a better hand to hand fighter than Shirou is. On the other hand, Shirou has a Reality Marble, if he can get enough time to cast it, and can attack from further away. Fate Shirou gets wrecked by Shiki under all circumstances unless Seiba is there to help him use Avalon. Trained UBW Shirou can win with a surprise attack or by using Unlimited Blade Works to overwhelm Shiki but loses in a straight fight. HF Shirou with Archer's arm could fight hand to hand against Shiki and win but probably dies in the process. If Shiki is in Satsujinki mode, Shirou is boned no matter what, and that's assuming Arcueid didn't wipe him off the face of the earth already.
