She's neither. The Fire nation colonies had their earth and fire cultures so intertwined they grew into their own kind. She's Republic Nation.
Still, that does not prevent one from taking part to others' cultural traditions, does it ? ;)
And it would mirror once more Aang and Katara, in that it's a multi-cultural couple. ;)

To be honest, I feel like it would make perfect sense for Asami to be dominant type in their relationship. Korra is headstrong and hot-headed. Even if she tuned down near the end, she still only shown her vulnerable side to people she is really close to, so I totally see her letting Asami spoil her (not to mention embarrassed Korra is sooo cute).
BTW. show made it really easy to see them as couple, especially that ending *__*

To be honest, I feel like it would make perfect sense for Asami to be dominant type in their relationship. Korra is headstrong and hot-headed. Even if she tuned down near the end, she still only shown her vulnerable side to people she is really close to, so I totally see her letting Asami spoil her (not to mention embarrassed Korra is sooo cute).
BTW. show made it really easy to see them as couple, especially that ending *__*
