I like how Rei doesn't seem to have a problem with Mari obviously pulling her by the tie for a kissing session, while Asuka is usually depicted a bit distressed in a similar situation.

I loathe Mari she is the most pointless eva character. Even after we get her backstory in the new chapter of the manga she is still just as pointless. She exists to cater to the " glasses fetish" god knows why that's even a thing but that and to sell merchandise is why Mari was created.
