@Anon 3. If anything it would be the other way around. Reason is, while in P4 there may not have been any consequences, the girls did sort of fight over Yu. But the main issue is the game does try to make you feel like an ass on Valentines day. There's no issue of the sort in P3 where while you may have had to schedule dates a certain way, once you maxed them, they didn't care you were dating all of the other girls. And you could max them all guilt free.
That said, I get the feeling that Yu's a bigger manwhore (same word that Margaret uses in the eng dub anime) than P3 protag. Golden even added another girl.

P5 MC: *Appears over Tatsuya's shoulder* Thanks for the vote of confidence *sarcasm*
Tatsuya *Surprised for a second, but quickly recovers* Hmph, whatever.
Naoya: *chuckles* No need to be rude Tatsuya-san. *eyes turn yellow* Isn't there anything else you wish to say?
Tatsuya: Actually yes.
Naoya: Oh?
P5 MC: Er what?
Tatsuya: *Eyes turn a violent shade of red as he stands up from his chair, flames starting to surround him.* About stealing my element...
P5 MC: *Adopts his Phantom persona's smile* Ah, but stealing is what I do. *flames engulf him*
Naoya: *Sighs, looks over at Minato* Hey, isn't your main element fire as well?
Minato: *Takes a sip from his Cielo Mist*.....nope *gets up from his chair and walks out of the increasingly hot room.
Naoya: *Sighs once again, and get's up* Alright, everyone you've had your fun now-
Yu: *Slamming his sword into the ground causing massive electrical discharge* EVERYBODY CALM DOWN!
Alright I'm going to stop now before I run this idea into the ground.
