Just a small hypothesis regard The Last movie:

Naruto and Hinata are dating during the 2 year time skip. Naruto was about to ask Hinata for marriage, but was interrupted when her sister, Hanabi, was abducted. They go to rescue her, and along the way things goes wrong and something almost happened to Hinata. Naruto once again do some rescuing. He saves the sisters and the battle concluded. At the near end of the movie, Naruto asks Hinata, "Will you marry me?" and Hinata says yes. Ending Credits rolling up, then flash forward about a decade year later (epilogue), their kids are running around, then the whole screen whites out. THE END.

I love this pairing with a passion and Im ecstatic that it became canon...but I seriously doubt we'll see him proposing in the movie. Its supposed to be a story about how Naruto falls in love with Hinata, so ending it with the marriage proposal seems too farfetched.

Seeing how the movie is a time skip between a time skip, I don't think marriage will be a focus, rather than showing them getting together. Because by the end of the series they already have two kids.
