Yeah Anon7 is right. She's scanning the alien. I mean it always happens and usually it takes 1/4 of the battle to scan the damn thing. Then she kicks it's ass.

Not to mention the fact that Samus has Power Bombs. I dont know exactly how durable the Predators are, but a mini nuke should probably blow any surrounding enemies away.
