@#1622745 - Taking a game that was released over a decade ago, and comparing it to the latest Smash... you're hilarious. Melee is still considered the best in the series (competitively speaking). Anyway, this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=j0BBGzfw0pQ kept comparing the Wii U & 3DS version. You can't even play Smash Run online.
The Wii U version is miles better than the 3DS version.

Brawl "better" than Melee? Well, yeah, if you're a casual player. Not everybody likes random-ass tripping. That random crap is taken out in Smash 4. Also, Smash 4 is faster than Brawl. No need to bring up Melee. It's old, but still very active.
Smash 4 > Brawl
