The gist of this comic strip appears to be that the Producer trolled Ritsuko in One For All by reforming Ryugu Komachi (the unit Ritsuko was producing in Idolmaster 2) and made her join it.

Imas 1 Ami and Mami were indeed hard to tell apart, but once Mami grew her hair out it was no longer an issue.
