How exactly do you access this artist's website, the whole thing not just the posted pics, because I try and all I get is a message saying "hello world." My net-fu is weak?

Without having actually accessed it, it sounds like there may not actually be a site. That kind of message is pretty common in the default configuration for web servers before you add a page to replace it, so it's possible he's only using the site for image hosting and doesn't have any actual pages up.
Just a hypothesis.

@ Floater: Thank you. I never could get it to come up and searches brought up page after page of the wrong thing.

When it's a direct image source like it was, you can either go to danbooru and check the artist's wiki for their websites or you can reverse image search the image. In this case, these will give you valid sources:

saucenao.com/
