I agree with anon1, women these days aren't so weak that they can't take a punch. We need to correct the double standard that men can get punched in the face and it's fine, but when a woman gets punched its called abusive because the misconception that they're too helpless and weak to fight back. More punching anime women in the face!

It's all about contexts. What needs to be done is having a woman be hit:
if a comedy) be just as over-top and funny as when a man gets hit.
if drama) have the woman fight back in some way, even if they fail.
