We get still get Mewtwo. Not everything has been revealed so far and gen 6 Pokemon have already been implemented in the game

My favorite character in Brawl. Mewtwo would have been awesome as well, but Lucario keeps the Pokemon side's roster from being all gen 1. So it's good he's back adding in more variety. Plus he's got a mega form now so he's still relevant even today.

As much of a huge Lucario fan as I am even I had my doubts of it returning but that dosen't matter Lucario's back and from Sakurai's posts seems to be getting a much needed buff, now lets keep those fingers crossed for Mega evolution as a final smash.

I thought they'd personally reveal Diddy or possibly make another set of double-team characters. i mean the Luma comes with Rosalina. they'd probably will use Diddy to promote Tropical Freeze.

Just so ya know, Lucario being confirmed doesn't deconfirm Mewtwo in any way.

This is good news for me as Lucaio is my main in Brawl.

GameExplain (a YouTube Channel) discussed their ideas on Lucario and I like their idea on his mega evolution. It is so predictable to make it his final smash but what if they integrated as a risk reward thing? For example, the higher his percentage is, the stronger he gets, but what if he hits a certain percentage, you can push a combination of buttons to make him mega evolve? Then his damage is caps out and makes all his move, including his final smash stronger. When he is K.O'd, he returns back to normal and reset. I kinda hope Sakurai does that as it would make him more unique and makes it possible to achieve the form without a smash ball (for tournament play).
