She didn't really need the foot rocket, she could've just hung in the air for no reason at all. They didn't have to explain it. Once again they're overthinking things.

Peacock uses her rocket feet to jump in the air again after a jump. Just cause her synthetic parasite lets her make toons and items in her mind real doesnt mean she just still isnt bound by the laws of gravity.

If you really want to get technical, Peacock is still ignoring the laws of gravity and going by 'toon physics here.

IRL, if someone used a single rocket to try and make themselves float like that, it'd send them careening off spinning backwards, not hovering the way she's doing. They'd need secondary rockets to stabilize their position in the air.

She's just doing this for style.

can we just enjoy the animation without poking holes in a cartoon character?

I'm sure anon 2 is aware that Peacock is also a toon, having abilities of a cartoon character, which is infinite but limited to the character's thought process and how funny the potential act is. Her skating on a rocket like nothing means she's doing it either for comedic purpose or because she is aware her toon powers work like that. Cartoon superpowers kinda fit in this realm of: "I can do literally ANYTHING if my controller/writer says I can."
