Tomoko does treat her toys pretty well. Throwing them tea parties, giving them the kotatsu treatment; the Domo-looking thing even got a hitachi magic wand massage in chapter 52.5.

Even Andy's toys would be a bit jealous. So WallabyAL's statement does make sense.
