On this site, "explicit" refers to images with visibly sexual content: actual sex acts, fully detailed nude bodies, penetration, etc.

Kissing, hugging, holding hands, or being in each others' general presence will never make an image explicit just because the people involved happen to be the same gender (the reverse is also true). In order to be explicit, it must have sexual content.

This is not sexual. At all.
