To clarify, he will not become Archer in the UBW route. Nor in the Fate or Heaven's Feel route. The route where he becomes Archer, the Ilya route, was scrapped.

Actually, you are slightly wrong Anon. The chances of Shirou becoming Archer exist in all of the routes, however, as was stated on the Devlopers Material, it is nearly zero.
