I think you're missing the point. If it was just them fucking all the time, it would be just some other random shitty hentai. It's the building tension between the characters and the situations that separate them that makes the series so great.

Well due to spoilers I won't say what happens in the very end of the Light Novel series but I can say that it's a good ending and they do end up together.
