I think what artist need to learn about abs is that outlining them will cause a product to look like this. Gentle, round highlights express the shape of abs more effectively.

What the artist needs to learn about abs is that 4 is the minimum, 6 is good, 8 is pushing it, and 10 looks like she tried to body slam her way through a chain link fence.
