The Kantai_Collection version of the Italian Regia Marina battleship Roma. Fourth and final ship in the Littorio_(Kantai_Collection)-class of battleships, her name is the Italian spelling of Rome.

Roma has medium-length wavy_hair dark brown_hair with blunt_bangs. She has brown_eyes with pince-nez glasses that have a chain on them. In terms of clothing, what she wears is virtually identical to Littorio, except that she wears a capelet over her shoulders, and an kerchief instead of a necktie. Things in common include a sleeveless_shirt with additional detached_sleeves, red skirt with a white under-skirt, and armored waist area with anchors hanging down. She has white thighhighs with red striping that are held up with garter_straps. She wears a white bicorn-like headdress.

Her|combat gear machinery includes a split-hull design with three large triple-cannon turrets that have orange inflatable_rafts lying on them. The decks of the hull are covered in a white-and-red striped pattern which, unlike Littorio, doesn't change with the kai.

Upon heavy damage, Roma notably has an entire turret destroyed, with fires visible within the hole of the turret. This is likely a reference to the historical sinking of the Roma, which involved the detonation of the magazine of her no. 2 turret. The force of the resulting explosion blew the turret off its mounting clear of the ship.

Historically, Roma was captured by the Allies and, rather than let it fall into enemy hands, was sunk by the Luftwaffe in an action that also damaged her elder sister-ships. Because of her real-life counterpart's fate, she is often portrayed to have a grudge toward German ship girls, and Bismarck is almost the one to blame due to her match of size and type with Roma. Fans couple Bismarck and Roma as having an odd relationship.

Her combat history involves almost no actual missions, as she was completed late in the war, at a point when Italy was desperately low on fuel oil. As such, her service history almost entirely consists of being attacked by Allied or Luftwaffe aircraft in multiple bombing raids.

Notorious for her very low drop rate in the Spring 2015 event where she was a drop instead of a ensured clear reward like her sister ship Littorio, only dropping in 2 nodes in the E-6 map at very low rates 1.5% for one and 5% on the E-6 boss node.
