I think that Wolverine is a bit tough than Darth Maul, and even if Wolverine got an arm cut off, he has the power to regenerate a new arm.

@Anon #1320221: provided the lightsaber would cut through the adamantium, theoretically Wolverine should be able to grow the FLESH back (if he held the rest of his arm in the proper place until healed) but not the metal on his skeleton which would make a weak spot.

Actually Anon 3, if you look at the claws, that's bone, not metal, implying he doesn't HAVE his adamantium skeleton yet.

Still, this really isn't a fair battle. The Force allows super human speed, strength, reflexes, ability to read someone's mind (to a degree). Hell, just including Telekinesis, something we KNOW Maul could use, that alone would stop Wolverine from getting close.

I just think these two shouldn't be compared in the first place is all.

solid, adamantium is indestructable. however when it reaches a certain temperature it has to liquify; hence how the skeleton implant was done.

so its a question of how hot a lightsaber is and how long to take adamantium to heat up...

granted it took qui-gon a second to get thru that door in ep 1.......which wasnt adamantium...

This fight basically boils down to is adamantium lightsaber resistant, and even if it is, this is a REALLY bad match-up.
