just noticed that too, most if not all them are brunettes(or the two blue ones)

Most male trainers have black hair...not including brendan(with his white hat) and the red who has brown hair.

Crystal and Dawn were the only ones who were not brunettes, they had blue or really dark blue hair. The new XY girl is blonde....yay. Pokemon sure had a thing for brunettes.
