You know I got to wonder who though of a word alicorn. Most people though out history have called that kind of horse a unicorn still. I mean I see why they did it but still. Also those being a alicorn make you immortal. I mean they never said that and also I think the picture represents how twilight is now cut off form her friends now that she is a princess and can no longer live in ponyville

I don't like the term "alicorn" much. It sounds pretty; has a nice ring to it, but the combination of a pegasus and a unicorn should have a much more fantastical name. "Alicorn" just sounds like it's leaning more one way than the other... such as a unicorn with a slight modification, although pegasus' and unicorns are two separate fantastic beings. I think it should be a name that doesn't include either word.
