Demons are independent from god and devil, they aren't good or bad, they're just there are. It's devils/imps/ogres and other shit always evil and do bad things. Succubi are always good but only with good humans.
Anon2 heaven/god and hell/devil are sucks, parallel universes with infinite freedom and wise Demons are rules!

I couldn't understand what Anon4 was trying to say. Can somebody please decipher that? Shin Megami Tensei does a great job of showcasing that devils,demons and angels have their own agenda and do not fit into the good and bad category.

Screwattack: Yeah, Bayonetta has a similar take on it, too. Hell, even in one of my canons the demon types and the angel types aren't really fighting for good or evil, they've got their good and bad types within their ranks in equal measure to how humans do. It's a much more fun concept than the black and white good and evil thing a la religious fiction [cough redundancy? cough].

It's even more fun though when angels and demons are fucking humans rather than killing each other as their means of competition... :D
