For those who don't get it: Koma-mawashi is the spinning of a top. A game often played by children at New Years in Japan. Historically the lunar New Year was just before Spring.

Kapoera or Hitmontop from Pokemon was based on this game. It's signature attack is a triple kick that looks like this.

seriously dude, do you not realize just HOW MANY people (kids) watch pokemon?
