So how does this work? If you marry Luncina, does that mean you have to marry Lucina of the current generation when she grows up or is that considered cheating? In fact, what's going to happen to baby Lucina when she grows up to find her future self married to you?

Baby Lucy and Future Lucy are two different people. Alternate Timelines via outrealm gate explains that all.
Though Ima bet that when baby Lucy grows up and grows fond of MU too, resulting in one being jealous of herself.

More then likely Young Lucina would be a strongly different person in terms of personality then Older Lucina mostly cause of the end of the game, she won't grow up through loss of many of her friends and family, she won't see her people die and her not able to save them and to see her lands scorched in flames.

So while they might share some personality traits, at least Younger Lucina won't be scared by battles as rough as her older self
