In the new AU, Hinata is sexy and hates Naruto. But i found a source that says this is supposed to be Naruto's perfect world.
Is this a shout out to Naru-Hina that he's "Just not into her?"
Or, could it be that this is actually what Naruto thinks of Hinata? A secretly sexed up person who hates him?
Think about it. She came to him when he was fighting Pain and said "I love you" but maybe she actually said "I love Naruto?" He could have thought she meant she likes Naruto on her ramen. which would account for the confused expression and why he never actually pursued her over what she said.
Curious.
