I've said this on another picture, but to reiterate, Popoie isn't actually confirmed as female and is, in fact, assumed to be male due it's masculine way of speaking in the Japanese version of the game.

Only because back in the 90's, androgynous characters who spoke like a male were thought to be male by translators.
