I've come up with a theory on why there are multiple versions of the Dark Magician. *cough* personalopinion *cough*

Each color / iteration represents the character who owns the card.

Yami Yugi/Pharaoh Atem [Blond Dark Magician w/ pale blue skin]
Yugi Muto ["Black" Dark Magician (Seen Above)
Yami & Yugi Together [Original art Dark Magician w/ purple hair and normal skin]
and finally Arkana [Red Dark Magician]

Side Note: most Dark Magician support cards feature the blond Dark Magician. (Maybe this means most of these cards belong to Yami himself based on my theory...
The only cards to feature any other version of Dark Magician are cards that took several years to make IRL from the Bonds Beyond Time Movie... (Which Yami uses the wrong version too... And in dark side of dimensions too...)
