Shouldn't she be blindfolded?

I hate to be the one to do this but...

Lamia and Medusi are not the same things.

Lamia: lower body = snake, upper body = gorgeous woman for luring men into their nests.

Medusi: lower body = snake, upper body = gorgeous woman who turns you to stone with her gaze and has snakes for hair. The lower body part changes from lore to lore but typically the upper half stays the same.
The only other thing that changes is based on beauty. In some lore they're horrific and terrifying creatures who petrify you with your gaze, in others they are gorgeous women who do the same but you can't help to stare at anyway.

They're called gorgons, anon 4. Not Medusi.

Also, pretty sure the gorgons didn't actually have the lower bodies of snakes in the original myths.

In Greek mythology, Gorgons were horrifyingly ugly (they petrified you with that), had humanoid bodies, and wings

Except, Anon 1013811, Medusa is just one of the Gorgon sisters, who, like Anon 108092 said, are horrifyingly ugly
