Lol Madoka has some sence at least. Using a Davy Crockett weapon causes a nuclear explosion. That would be a nightmare, even if it pwned Kyubey (little devious bastard). lol

the Davy Crockett is a tactical not strategic nuke. You wouldnt wanna fire it close range.

^ That kind of goes without saying.
However, the yield of the Davy Crockett is so minute that the diameter of the blast would fit comfortably in Central Park, while the diameter of the radiation burst from the explosion would be about as wide as Central Park. In fact, five Davy Crocketts could be set off in Central Park without the radiation bursts crossing each other's edges or leaving the confines of the park. Really, Davy Crocketts are nothing if you put at the very least 220 meters between you and the target. An AR-15 can hit further than that, it's not as if your firing a Tsar Bomba.

#1614867 - That's all fine and speculative, but with the Crockett, there's only two important things to know...
1. Big punch for it's size
2. That lingering radiation
Doesn't matter if it if the blast and fallout is smaller than Central Park...if Central Park is the only route you have or where you're at, you're fucked.
To bring in the AR-15 is comparing apples to oranges, btw.

You guys are forgetting to factor in three things. Dust and debris would be irradiated, and that's bad of it gets on you or you breath it in. The explosion is gonna kick it up everywhere. Finally the wind is gonna carry it. So even if you are a safe distance from the radiation, you better not be downwind or the irradiated dust is gonna be carried over to you and whatever else debris you blew up into the sky.
