Those comments may be old, but watermelons actually DO float.
Despite being known for their mass, watermelons are over 90%...erm...water, and their rinds consist of aerated pulp. As a result, this makes it slightly less dense than water (I think 0.92 against 1.00).
Now do boobies float? They should - they could save a life!!
