You know... thinking about it is Orre REALLY based off of Arizona? I mean if you look at a map of Japan of course you can see the first for regions of the games, and when I saw Unova I thought it was based on New York (this was before it was revealed that it was). But as for Orre I just don't see it, and to the west there is an ocean right next to it which I don't think any oceans are by it. So if someone can give a detailed map that proves it, that would be great.

Maps have nothing to do with it. Word of god says Orre is based on Arizona, and it didn't even have a beach in Colo, where the region debuted.

@anon3 the Mojave desert does actually go to the pacific ocean at it's southwestern corner and has the cascade region to it's north as well as having the chihuahuan desert to it's east, so really the Orre region does look very similar to the american southwest.
