Rightfully so. She is pure dere, no tsun. Char is currently the most fleshed out of the bunch. And got damn; how would you have resisted her "Ichika no Ecchi," sultry tone?! One of the few great things that came from France... which ironically is Japan-made. XD

Her popularity is probably strongly due to the fact that she seems to be the 'normal' girl if saying that she is the most 'sane' out of the harem girls isn't the best word to choose from.
