She doesn't.
The setting info states that all monster girls instinctively pride men and treat them with extreme care. They only will kill men in self-defense, and they seldom go after human females (in which case it is to either enslave or transform them into more of their own kind).

Kenkou's site it states that this mamono are not particularly interested in males, but when breeding season comes they will begin to capture a male and keep using him for breeding purposes and for breeding purposes only after the breeding season ends well...just look forward to the full translation.
one thing I notice about the insect race in mamono girl love is that the insect-types purely acts on instinct and some(or maybe all) of them are incapable of human speech.

This is probably just another random animal girl like the grizzly girl and such.
But I'm gonna ask anyways, has mantises ever appeared in any RPGs or DnD games? They're the coolest insects, yet I don't ever remember seeing them anywhere...spiders on the other hand appear in every game like it's an obligation.

Definate want, she's probably a kuudere or a tsundere type. As far as mantises in RPGs go.... I can't actually say I've seen any, unless theres some sort of mantis themed pokemon somewhere out there.
