the notion that envy is ed and als brother is false int he manga and the manga inspired version of the anime he is not related in any shape or form to ed or al. the fma where he says hes their brother is a version of fma that the creators went off on cuz the manga was not anywhere close to finishing so they had to make up shit as they went
